LIGHT can change your life into DARKNESS

LIGHT can change your life into DARKNESS
By: ~dae_meen~
A mother is devastated, she is howling with pain, yelling all she can in that dark and dingy night. There was nobody to hear her yell and not a soul to pacify her, because outside her shack is a long winding lonely road. There was no existence of mankind for miles and miles ahead. The wind was at rest, the leaves didn’t rustle and no resonance of a barking dog, silence filled the air. Loneliness was already killing her, but no one knows what made her cry?
Losing something you love with all your heart isn’t really the grief you can ever overcome. Khadijah lost her baby. Her only means to live. She saw her child getting crushed under a car in front of her own eyes. Blood was all over and the accident was terrible, too terrible to imagine. She can only say that “That LIGHT DARKENED her life.”
The whole time she walked with her child in her arms the only thing that worried her was Amins (her son’s) future. What kind of a person will he be? Will he make me proud? How much light is life going to bring in his existence? She was imagining and feeling every day of the Childs growth, and what she had in store for him. But who knows what’s in store for us tomorrow, life can change in the splits of a second. Talk about destiny, all those dreams hopes and expectations were snatched away from her in an instant. Her smiles were frowns and her faith just crumbled, like a deal soul in a living, rather breathing body.
This is how it happened…. On that abandoned road, were a few streetlights dimmed and barely sufficient to see. There was this one light that was visible from a distance, but as it came closer it got brighter and brighter. That LIGHT changed Khadijah’s life into DARKNESS forever. A speeding car came down that road, as if the driver had jammed the accelerator, cutting across the wind. He came at a speed of 110kmph throwing beer bottles out of his half open window. He was definitely drunk, the speed took everything in its path.  Just then, there was a loud cry, and silence set in again, the cry of a baby and no sight of a child.
Ironically the mother wasn’t hurt, not a scratch on a body, not a bruise on her arm. She opened her eyes and didn’t she Amin, her vision was blur. After a few minutes when her sight cleared up she looked all over frantically for her baby, but alas!! There was nothing. Just then she noticed something about ten feet away, it was blood draining into the gutter’s, and pieces of minced flesh, laying there saying so much without saying anything at all. It was the blood of her baby; the child who hadn’t even seen life, the same sinless child whose future was just being planned taken down by the LIGHT in DARKNESS.
This was only a made up story. In life, we have the power to choose what type of LIFE we want. Whenever there is GOOD, there will be EVIL. The definition of the word “wonders” in GOOD and EVIL is sometimes exactly the same. LIGHT can be both in them but whether it is the “LIGHT in LIGHT” or the “LIGHT in DARKNESS” depend on how you define things as they are. Do not follow that DARK path even how wonderful it can be. If you pursue that path, the outcome has never been wonderful as what you have seen. Not only you will be affected, but the things attached to you will feel the same dreadful sensation you felt.
Read this story and make your own conclusion. May The Blessings of ALLAH be upon us.

~UNITED WE STAND TOGETHER WE SLAM~
LIFE LINE 4 GAZA l BREAK THE SIEGE
By: ~dae_meen~

8 Mei 2010, more than 10 thousand people gathered in Melawati Stadium, Shah Alam Selangor for the biggest fund raising event that is PALESTINE MASS GATHERING (Perhimpunan Perdana Palestin). Many people from every part of Malaysia gathered and showed their enthusiasm and love towards our brothers and sisters in Palestine. The event started at five in the evening and ended at nearly 12 midnight. For about seven hours, with ALLAH’s will, RM102 thousand was collected. I would say that the fund rising was a success, RM102 thousand a night?! That’s a big number!! TAKBIR!!
The experience that I went through that day was remarkable, extraordinary, amazing and outstanding (whatever word it may be…) experience one ought to feel. For those who did not take part in this event, I assure you, you should REGRET your life for not coming!! I do not know whether there’s a second time or not. Well it was a LIVELY event if you ask me. For those who did not come, make sure that you’ve done something (Anything!!) for our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
PALESTINE MASS GATHERING concert was a different concert from other concerts. When I was a kid, the word concert seems to give a negative connotation in my head but PALESTINE MASS GATHERING managed to break that to positive. Why do you think 10 thousand people from the entire world (coz there are also non-Malaysians) spent their money and time just to come to Melawati Stadium that day? Was it for fun? Was it for money or leisure? NO. We GATHER there only to be TOGETHER as one entity that carries one vision and mission. We assemble there to praise ALLAH and strive that Islam will soon again become the ruling system of this world. That starts with the liberation of Palestine from Zionist. WE WILL BREAK THAT SIEGE!!! Just wait and see. "United We Stand, Together We Slam". We will STAND!! And we will SLAM!!
From all the performing artist that night, personally, the most striking in every aspect was ShouHAR (SHOUTUL HARAKAH) and Raihan, do you agree? But the best is always ShouHAR, to me ShouHAR has a huge place in my heart. They do not consider themselves as artist but they are DAE’S alright. "NAHNU DU’AT QOBLA KULLA ZALIK" once said by Brother Chandra to me. ShouHAR has performed in a concert of 350 thousand people in Indonesia, marching while singing “Untukmu Palestina”, 10 thousand is just “nothing” (They did not say “nothing”, I said it). Although there are famous and well-known, did they boast up because of their popularity? NO. As Lord Mansfield said (a British author), “True popularity is not the popularity which is followed after, but the popularity which follows after.” (Do you understand this quote? If not ask me =) )

You know, the best part in this concert was that, the level of enthusiasm, zeal and zest of the crowd was always optimum throughout the concert. Everyone was like crazy, no not crazy, energetic as the artists perform. Everyone was like jumping here and there, full of life, full of activity that night. Even old people wanted to take part as if they are still young (yeah, young at heart maybe). This is my second experience seeing a scene like this. I had some work to do so I did not follow the crowd. Even I was working behind the scene; I can feel my body automatically reacted to the beat!! But, are we being lively for nothing? We are jumping and showing of our energy, our enthusiasm for ALLAH, ISLAM and PALESTINE!! It is also a reminder whenever we are going down afterwards, we will remember that moment. Again ShouHAR dominated the crowd’s attention. The crowd’s energy when ShouHAR was performing was lively as ever, more energetic compared to other performing artists although they started performing at about eleven o’clock. ShouHAR performed almost 12 songs that day and combining all the other artists, that makes 22 songs!!! Exhausted?! NO. We are forever FIRM and STRONG!!
As we know, the journey to Palestine under the LIFE LINE 4 GAZA project starts this 15 Mei 2010. I want to ask you a question, will we stop striving after this project has ended? NO. We will never stop striving for ISLAM, for PALESTINE until the liberation of PALESTINE. Salahuddin AL-Ayubi once said “I will never yet SMILE, until AL-Quds returns to the safe hands of ISLAM”. Are we willing to say the same quote as him? Whether we want it or not, we ought to brothers and sisters. PALESTINE IS OURS, AND FOREVER OURS!! Takbir!!!
p/s: IIUM Journalism Club will be organizing an opening ceremony for the Palestine week on Monday 10 Mei 2010 at IIUM Main Auditorium. There will be a talk by Ust. Darus Senawi (Advisor of HaluanPalestine). You are kindly invited. Please forward this message to all.
Behind The Scene

“MASYALLAH, CHANDRA, LONG TIME NO SEE AKHI” I cried happily after I saw Brother Chandra at the SHOUTUL HARAKAH’s room behind the stage. He replied with a smile “Oh, amin, Keifahaluk?” (I can’t believe he remembered my name; we only met once last two months). I was so happy to see him. Everyone was very busy that time including myself, so we had a short chat before parting ways as he wanted to perform Asar prayer. I do not know why out of 7 people in ShouHAR, brother Chandra is the most closest to me.

For about a week I was handful. For other committee members, their hands were full for more than 3 months!! What are we busy for? It is to make sure the success of PALESTINE MASS GATHERING 9 (Perhimpunan Perdana Palestin) 8 Mei 2010 at Melawati Stadium, Shah Alam Selangor. For weeks and months, all the committee members went all-out finishing all the tasks given. We had to undergo exhaustion, stress and crisis with putting only ALLAH as our helper. If you are in our seats, you will know that a huge plan such as this is very tiring!! But I can say that all our sweats really paid off!! TAKBIR!!
Don't make yourself stop. Keep going on forward and maintain your strength, make sure that your strength is at it's optimum. May ALLAH bless us all…
